Spazi vuoti, desiderio di normalità, silenzio intervallato da piccole gioie. Il progetto fotografico ha contribuito alla memoria della particolare condizione dell'abitare che ha contraddistinto il mondo negli ultimi mesi, raccontando in questa selezione di scatti la quotidianità stravolta degli anziani. Soprattutto oggi che, dopo mesi di emergenza Coronavirus, ci siamo abituati a pensare come alla popolazione più fragile, spesso costretta alla solitudine e che nei mesi più duri abbiamo visto spegnersi, talvolta senza neppure poter salutare.

Empty spaces, longing for normalcy, silence punctuated by small joys. The photographic project has contributed to the memory of the unique living conditions that have characterized the world in recent months, narrating in this selection of shots the disrupted daily life of the elderly. Especially now, after months of the Coronavirus emergency, we have become accustomed to thinking of them as the most vulnerable population, often forced into solitude, and whom we have seen fade away during the toughest months, sometimes without even being able to say goodbye.
